All-new Suzuki Grand Vitara

To widen its share in the market, Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has unveiled the latest version of the Grand Vitara.

    During the launch, MSIL Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Hisashi Takeuchi said that the all-new Grand Vitara highlights the best of the brand’s design, technology and performance.

Moreover, with the introduction of the revolutionary Intelligent Electric Hybrid system, the Grand Vitara paves the way for a cleaner, greener, sustainable and carbon-neutral world. We are confident that Grand Vitara will set a new benchmark for SUV lovers in the country and redefine Joy of Mobility for our customers,” the executive noted.

    On the outside, the all-new Suzuki Grand Vitara features high-gloss front grille with dark chrome accents, a chrome grille bar, and three-point signature lamps.

    Further, the all-new Suzuki Grand Vitara is equipped with panoramic sunroof, head-up display, ventilated seats and 360-view camera and wireless charging.

    Customers in India can choose between the two powertrains that are made available for the all-new Suzuki Grand Vitara: a 1.5-liter Intelligent Electric Hybrid (fuel efficiency rating is at 27.97 kilometers per liter [kpl>) paired to a e-CVT or a 1.5-liter Next-Gen K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with Progressive Smart Hybrid technology (fuel efficiency rating is at 21.11kpl) matched to either a six-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmission.

    All-new Suzuki Grand Vitara

    For the first time in India, the model offers the AllGrip Select, a system that allows the driver to choose among the four selectable driving modes (Auto, Sport, Snow and Lock).

    The vehicle, which is based on the Suzuki's Total Effective Control Technology (TECT) body, is fitted with active and safety technologies, including six airbags, electronic stability program with hill hold assist, three-point seat belts (all seats), and hill descent control.
