Tata launches Emergency Response Vehicle
The Philippines is no stranger to natural disasters. In fact, the average number of typhoons that have entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility during the last two decades has been around 20 per year.
With this alarming reality, Pilipinas Taj Autogroup, the exclusive distributor of Tata Motors in the country, in partnership with ATOY Customs, has launched an ideal vehicle suited for local government units in responding to natural calamities.
Meet the Tata Ace Rescue Boy.
Based on the platform of the Tata Ace micro truck, the Tata Ace Rescue Boy is an emergency response vehicle ideally designed for local government units to help save lives during calamities. Imagine those waist deep floods that strike the country every year. With their latest partnership with ATOY Customs, Tata Motors is helping every community to prepare for a natural disaster.
EMERGENCY RESCUE VEHICLE
With its rigid frame suspension and high ground clearance that can pass through floods, the Tata Ace Rescue Boy is a perfect vehicle for rescue missions in Barangays. The vehicle is equipped with a 702-cc diesel engine similar to the Tata Ace. The only difference is that it has a unique rear body configuration with detachable rescue-boat on the roof and storage for medical kits.
Now, how about during power cuts? The Tata Ace Rescue Boy is equipped with a solar panel which is a viable source of power during calamities. In case of a medical emergency, the rear seat can turn into a spine board carrier that can transport a casualty.
When disaster strikes, you can’t hide from it. But with Tata’s newly launched emergency vehicle, you are certain that rescue is on its way!
