Nissan has announced that the upcoming 2023 Altima will offer customers significant updates which include a comprehensive exterior refresh, expanded safety features, and available technologies.

According to the automaker, the upcoming 2023 Nissan Altima will get a new look, better safety features, and improved car tech.
  • When is the 2023 Nissan Altima expected to go on sale in the US?

Per Nissan, the 2023 Altima will be on sale by Q4 of 2022.
  • From the outside, the 2023 Nissan Altima looks sleeker and sportier than its predecessor. It now wears the updated version of the brand’s V-Motion grille. The new front fascia is flanked by the now-standard LED headlights with integrated turn signals in the daytime running lights and standard active grille shutters. Meanwhile, the rear dons standard center high-mounted LED stop lamp, aggressive taillights, and standard rear sensors.

A single-panel moonroof is now available as an optional add-on.

Customers who will opt for the SR grades can expect to get the sedan with a specially-designed blacked-out grille, a unique-colored rear diffuser and exhaust finisher, black side mirror caps, and body-color door handles.

For 2023, two new exterior colors are added to the palette: Gray Sky Pearl and Garnett Pearl Metallic, joining the previously available Scarlet Ember Tintcoat (premium color), Brilliant Silver Metallic, Gun Metallic, Super Black, Pearl White TriCoat (premium color), Glacier White, and Deep Blue Pearl.

In addition, the 2023 Altima gets four new aluminum-alloy wheel designs: a 17-inch wheel for the SV trim and individual 19-inch wheel designs for SR, SL, and SR VC-Turbo trims.

Nissan also gave the 2023 Altima minor interior updates like its revised instrument panel (with available seven-inch Advance Drive-Assist display) and the new dual-stitch interior fabric design for SR models, NASA-inspired Zero Gravity seat design with dual-density foam and bolstering, available leather-appointed seating, and available eight-way power driver’s seat.

The abovementioned features are standard on SL and SR VC-Turbo variants and available as an optional add-on on the SV and SR models.

The new 12.3-inch infotainment system is as big as the one found on the Nissan Armada full-size SUV and features a high-resolution display that provides clear images and crisp graphics.

Standard features on all variants include Nissan Connect, hands-free texting, a Bluetooth hands-free phone system, Bluetooth audio streaming, as well as Siri Eyes Free and Google Voice Assistant recognition.
