After a teaser was released over its official Facebook page a few weeks back, Volkswagen Philippines has added a new set of unique body colors to the T-Cross to give customers more choices that would show off their character.
In a statement, the Ayala-backed automotive marque said that new hues for the subcompact sport utility vehicle are the Makena Turquoise, Pure White, and Moonstone Grey. The latest colors will add to the existing T-Cross color options namely Syringa Violet, Tribu Yellow, and Romance Red.
To recall, Volkswagen Philippines captioned the post “new hue for the new you.”
Powering the fun-to-drive quirky vehicle is the 1.5-liter multi-point injection (MPI) gasoline engine mated to a six-speed tiptronic automatic transmission operating under Volkswagen’s BlueMotion technology. The powertrain combination —which meets Euro 6 emission standards — can deliver as much as a little more than 111 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque.
Reportedly, the vehicle can go from zero to 100 kilometers per hour (kph) in 13.3 seconds and has a top speed of 185kph.
Volkswagen Philippines said that just like every model under the brand, the T-Cross boasts precise German engineering across its entire production process — as if the vehicle was built by the company’s engineers, designers, and assemblers at its headquarters in Wolfsburg.
Further, Volkswagen Philippines noted that its aftersales support is founded on the campaign “Keep your Volkswagen running like a Volkswagen,” which offers aftersales services on all fronts. These include the one-year periodic maintenance services, which leads to 20 percent less cost of ownership compared to its competitors, 100,000-kilometer or three-year warranty coverage program (whichever comes first), three-month stock on parts, enhancements in service quality via Express Service, free 24/7 emergency roadside assistance.
In addition, the company guaranteed that only technicians mentored by globally certified trainers, and backed by on-site and virtual diagnostic technical support, will get to service the T-Cross at Volkswagen Philippines-authorized service centers.
