Volvo PH to open Pampanga dealership in 2023

Volvo Philippines has officially sealed an agreement with the Gateway Group of companies that will lead to the creation of a dealership in Pampanga.

In a statement, the Swedish automaker’s local distributor said that the forthcoming sales facility — which will be the product of the contract-signing ceremony between the companies held last November 16 — is set to be opened to customers in the second quarter of 2023.

According to Volvo Philippines, its upcoming Pampanga showroom will reflect the brand’s new retail environment. “Designed to showcase Scandinavian-inspired values of calm, clean lines with ‘cool on the outside and warm on the inside’-style architecture, the Volvo Retail Experience (VRE) is a space where guests can feel at home,” the firm noted.

In the meantime, Volvo car enthusiasts in the province and nearby areas in Northern Luzon can visit the temporary site at MacArthur Highway, Baliti, San Fernando, Pampanga.

To note, the Gateway Group of Companies is one of the fastest-growing automotive networks in the country.

Volvo vehicles are distributed locally by Scandinavian Motors Corporation (SMC) and dealer Viking Cars, Incorporated (VCI) for 28 years.

Those who have graced the ceremony (aside from Arcilla) Volvo Philippines Marketing Director Christopher Yu, Vice President for Finance Matthew Lee, Assistant Vice President for Sales Froilan Valencia as well as Gateway Group executives namely Markane Goho (Chairman), Michael Goho (Executive Vice President), and Gerry Hernandez (Brand Head).
