Waze Gives Data to Help Outsmart Traffic This Holiday

It is no secret that everyone is now experiencing the heaviest traffic jams for the year. And no matter how we try to make up for the time, we only get to the destination all furious about the congestion on the road. 

In its bid to help commuters and fellow drivers outsmart traffic, Waze, the mobile app widely used today, has released its traffic data to help everyone outsmart congested roads this holiday season. 

Based on the driving patterns from last year's data, active Waze users is up by 10 percent in December than on any month. 

Apart from that, Waze users are using the app longer--12 percent more, according to its figures-- for the same month last year than on a regular month. 

With that, Waze dished out the best and worst time to travel on the road during the Christmas period and on as we go to the New Year countdown. 

Further, Waze urges everyone to plan their trips with its Waze Planned Drives. 

All you have to do is enter the time and date you need to arrive, and Waze will recommend the best time to leave. You will also receive a reminder closer to your event with an updated departure time based on real-time traffic conditions in the area.
