Aion Hyptec HT

The Aion Hyptec HT’s interior follows a modern approach complemented by a good mix of monotone colors as seen in its classy Nappa Leather upholstery. At the front, its dashboard is equipped with soft-touch material and a 14.6-inch central touchscreen infotainment system which offers Apple CarPlay and is linked to a 22-piece Dolby Atmos speaker set. Charging devices can also be conveniently done inside the car as it is equipped with multiple USB ports and an air-cooled 50-watt smartphone charging pad. Meanwhile, exclusive to the driver is a multi-function microfiber steering wheel which gives off a luxurious feeling while driving.

All-around, the car offers a spacious five-seater cabin design which is enhanced by ambient lighting and a dual-zone automatic climate control system. Its seats and power windows are electronically adjustable. Another good feature in this model is that both the front and rear seats have cup holders, making the journey more enjoyable. Additionally, it is equipped with flush door handles, power-folding side mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, and at the back, and a power tailgate, all of which add to the model’s emphasis on convenience and safety. However, only the higher variant, the HT Ultra, is equipped with a pair of gullwing doors which can be controlled by a push of a button and rear privacy and soundproof glasses. In terms of size, the Hyptec HT is 4,935 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,700 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,935 mm and a minimum ground clearance of 150 mm. 

The suspension combination of a Double Wishbone at the front and a Five-Link Independent at the rear of the Aion Hyptec HT allows for the driver to have easy maneuvering and good bump absorption when on the road. You’ll feel at ease driving this car even through rough and busy roads as its suspension combination offers a lightweight but durable driving experience overall. 

One of the strengths of the Aion Hyptec HT is its 83kWh battery capacity that has a driving range of 605 km, making it a great choice for long distance driving among its rival electric SUVs. It is powered by a magazine battery and runs on a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, which has a maximum power of 250 kW and a maximum torque of 380 Nm. If you frequently drive on highways, this car is reliable for high-speed drives since it has an acceleration of 5.8 seconds for a mid-size SUV. It utilizes a rear-wheel drive system.

In terms of safety, the Aion Hyptec HT is reliable on the road. It is equipped with GAC’s ADiGO Intelligent Driving System which consists of a high-precision millimeter-wave radar, smart and 360-degree parking cameras, full-speed adaptive cruise control system, integrated cruise assistance, automatic emergency braking, warnings for forward and rear collisions, lane departure, and door open, lane departure and emergency lane keeping assists, intelligent high beam control, blind spot detection, and a rear crossing traffic alert.
