Audi R8 Spyder

The inside of the R8 Spyder has also been given a major facelift to match its larger-than-life attitude. The upholstery is in complete quilted leather and the seats are all power-adjustable. The dashboard is driver-oriented with all features designed to be closer and within reach to the driver’s seat. While the seats are positioned low, visibility is still excellent. And thanks to Audi’s signature virtual cockpit, everything needed is right behind the steering wheel. The R8 Spyder is a beast of a vehicle. There are two available variants: the V10 and the V10 Plus. The V10 variant is powered by 5.2-litre V10 FSI engine with the capability to churn out 540 hp and 529 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the V10 Plus is capable of generating 610 hp. Both are mated to a 7-speed automatic gearbox. The original R8 coupe can go from 0-100 kph in just 3.4 seconds, but the Spyder is apparently a tenth slower according to Audi. That means it can reach 100 kph in 3.6 seconds and 3.3 seconds when in top-down mode. However, it is capable of reaching top speeds of 312 to 328 kph which is pretty impressive for a top-down. The R8 Spyder is equipped with a complete set of driver, side, and passenger airbags. It has the standard Anti-Lock Braking System with Electronic Brake Distribution, as well as Brake Assist, engine immobilizer, parking sensors, a tyre pressure monitor, and crash sensors.
