On the inside, Dodge has managed to keep things subtle and elegant, with the Dodge Challenger having a modern dashboard layout that exudes high-quality fit and finish and equipment levels.

The leather-wrapped multifunctional steering wheel and eccentric round dials with MID in between make for a very subtle looking driver’s cockpit. The wraparound theme for the centre console with a large touchscreen infotainment system flanked by vertical AC vents makes the dashboard look wide and huge.

The lower portion of the centre console also doubles up as the transmission tunnel and houses the climate control console and transmission lever with fine contrast stitching making it look more special.

If the list of cars that has beautifully evolved all these years keeping the original heritage intact is discussed, the Dodge Challenger ranks very high on that list. The sports car has very well managed to retain the original form and design in a modern way, which gives it a very fine neo-retro persona.

At the front, the Dodge Challenger looks menacing and in-your-face with its broad horizontal front fascia, with quad round LED headlamps with circular daytime running LEDs surrounding them – two each on either side. These headlamps, along with the wide front grille, are all housed in a single horizontal stretch with rounded edges at extremes. The inward front bumper design with round fog lamps and the wide scoop on the front bonnet further accentuate its muscle car appeal even more.

The Dodge Challenger has a big car aura when viewed sideways, with the long bonnet design and long rear boot design with two door profile giving it a bossy stance. The tapered design for the large rear fenders post the side windows and door-mounted rearview mirrors and black alloy wheels add to the visual drama even more.

The rear profile of the Dodge Challenger looks as simple but menacing as the front profile with a long horizontal housing with rounded edges incorporating the very wide rounded rectangular LED tail lamps covering the majority of the area here. The integrated boot lid spoiler and dual exhaust ports add to the sporty visual aura of the car here.

Keeping its true sporty intentions intact, the Dodge Challenger gets stiffly sprung suspension combination, which does get further assistance of all whee drive and adaptive damping system with multiple drive modes on offer.
