About Haima Philippines

Haima started its journey in 1992 when Hainan Motors from China and Mazda from Japan came together for a joint venture aimed at producing Mazda-like cars for the Chinese automobile market under the name Hainan-Mazda Motor. The partnership came to a halt in 2006 when FAW Group acquired the company and converted it into its subsidiary brand. Now called Haima, the automaker landed on the Philippine shores in 2009, and is managed & operated by the Laus Group.

Currently, the Haima portfolio for the Philippine market comprises of the likes of the Haima S7 (SUV), Haima V70 (MPV), Haima S5 (Crossover), and the Haima M3 (Sedan). Also, the Chinese automaker is set to launch the Haima 2 very soon in the Philippines. With a price tag that starts at Php 699,000, the Haima M3 is the most inexpensive model in the lineup. The Haima S7, on the other hand, is the most expensive model, with its high-end model costing a good Php 1.2 million.
