If you think the Haima 7X’s exterior design looks premium for its price, then you’ll definitely be surprised with how luxurious its cabin is. Upon entering this MPV, you are greeted by an abundance of soft-touch materials and premium-looking finishes all around. Drivers get a high-tech cockpit, which offers a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster and a multi-control steering wheel that is good-to-the-touch. 

A 12.3-inch center console LCD touchscreen monitor is connected to the instrument cluster. This comes with smartphone connectivity, Bluetooth, WIFI reception, a multimedia player, an MP3 player, and AM/FM radio.

Its leather seats are well-padded and provide great cushioning and ergonomics for all passengers. You also have loads of room in all rows. And for added convenience and functionality, it comes with four USB ports. To enhance the overall passenger experience, it also has a panoramic sunroof.

The Haima 7X has a distinct appearance that exudes a mix of confidence and elegance on the road. It has an expensive-looking front end accentuated by a uniquely-shaped grille, which slightly resembles a mermaid’s tail, along with striking, swept-back halogen headlights. It also comes with LED DRLs for more illumination. 

Its side profile is not as loud as its front end, but it still features sharp character lines and well-proportioned curves that add more depth to its overall appearance. This MPV runs on a sporty-looking set of 17-inch wheels. Meanwhile, its unique, modern character is still evident in its rear. It comes with sharp-looking LED taillights along with a blacked-out tailgate and rear bumper, both of which increase its sportiness.

In terms of dimensions, the Haima 7X measures 4,815 mm in length, 1,874 mm in width, and 1,720 mm in height. This MPV has a 2,860 mm wheelbase and a 170 mm ground clearance.

In terms of suspension, the Haima 7X utilizes an independent McPherson Strut at the front, while an independent Multi-Link at the rear. Thanks to this suspension setup, you and your passengers will be able to enjoy a smooth and comfortable cruising experience in the city. This MPV can effectively absorb bumps and other road imperfections. Its steering is also light, allowing the driver to easily maneuver this car even through tight traffic despite its size. However, since its suspension setup is tuned more for comfort, do not expect a high level of steering engagement from this MPV when hitting sharp turns or corners at high speeds.

The Haima 7X is powered by a 1.5L turbocharged gasoline direct injection engine that produces a maximum power output of 162 hp and a maximum torque of 240 Nm. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission system. It utilizes a front-wheel drivetrain. On the highway, this MPV is capable of overtaking slower vehicles thanks to its engine’s smooth and punchy power delivery. 

In terms of safety, the Haima 7X comes with an electric cruise control system, two airbags, four rear parking sensors, tire pressure monitoring, electronic stability program, auto-hold, and a reversing image. Its braking setup is also supported by an anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist system, brake override system, traction control system, hill-start assist system, hill descent control, and an electronic parking brake system. This MPV comes with front and rear disc brakes.

The Haima 7X offers a sweet spot for budget-oriented consumers who are looking for an MPV that effectively blends advanced technology and safety features with a luxurious cruising experience overall without compromising on practicality and everyday usability. In my opinion, this MPV deserves more attention within its segment.
