Silent performer
Electric cars are a different riding experience and that’s what prompted be to take a test drive of this car. Everything in this car is almost the same like the standard Kona, only that the powertrain is different. Hyundai claims that the Kona’s battery can last around 450km. Well I didn’t test that. I took the car only for a short distance in Manila. It’s a comfortable car. With no engine and running noise, the cabin is surprisingly silent. Of course there’s regenerative braking which saves energy. The Kona EV’s handling is peppy and the ride quality comfortable.
