The super-strong pickup
Pickup trucks are a sort of lifestyle statement here in the Philippines. The Gladiator is a super-strong pickup truck and I recently drove it for more than an hour. This vehicle was about two-years old and more than 10,000km under its belt. The Gladiator has superb road presence. The steering is light so handling isn’t an issue. The 3.6-liter V6 was supremely powerful. You’ll rarely need that much power on highways and during in-city duties. The twin-cab cabin is spacious. Jeep is known for heavy and tough vehicles and the Gladiator proves that.
