About Maserati Philippines

A story of compassion, Maserati was a product of five brothers namely: Alfieri, Bindo, Carlo, Ettore, and Ernesto who began their journey by opening a mechanical shop. As luck had it, these brothers found out their calling in designing and performance of four-wheelers, thereby, giving birth to this iconic brand.

In 1926, the brand came up with its first-ever production car which was named the 250F. After their initial success, it was only a matter of years when Maserati began making race cars. Their race cars were iconic as they started producing 4, 6, 8, and 16 cylinders cars that comprised of their iconic characters. 

In their history, 1957 proved to be a major game-changer for them as the brand was successful in launching the 3500 GT which created history for being the first ground-up grand tourer design. Moreover, the car was the first series-produced car, the success of which lead to an abundant increase in the production of their cars. The 3500 GT came such an immense hit among the customers that it made sales of some 2,200 units during its time of crisis. 

Talking about their iconic logo, Maserati’s trident logo was designed by Mario Maserati and sends out a unique message based on the Fountain of Neptune in Bologna's Piazza Maggiore. The brand has surely made a long way from changing a lot of ownerships to establishing itself as an iconic car brand.

In the Philippines, Maserati is sold under Autostrada Motore Inc. that has been an established dealer of the car ever since its arrival on the shores of the country.
