Entering the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, you will be greeted with a luxurious cabin that is not overwhelming to look at. Its interior has a silver grey diamond-patterned trim that gives all passengers a premium vibe while on board. It also has a silver grey center console with a criss-cross look, which is not only aesthetically pleasing to look at but is also functional since it can be used as an additional storage or compartment. 

All passengers can enjoy an 11.9-inch central touchscreen display, which offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and is linked to Mercedes-Benz’s MBUX Multimedia system. There is also a wireless charging system at the front, which is certainly one of the most desirable features at the present time. Meanwhile, the driver can monitor his or her current driving conditions through a customizable 12.3-inch full digital instrument display. 

The C-Class’ electrically-adjustable driver and passenger seats, though limited in functionality, offer good ergonomics that just elevates your comfort level while on the road. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class has a simple but elegant appearance from the outside. Although the C-Class is not as flashy as other more expensive models (like the E-Class or the S-Class), it certainly holds its own ground when it comes to elegant styling and practicality within its class. The C 180 Avantgarde is 4,751 mm in length, 2,033 mm in width, and 1,440 mm in height. It has a 2,865 mm wheelbase.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class utilizes the brand’s Agility Control suspension system. With this suspension system, you will be able to smoothly maneuver this luxury sedan whether on city roads or highways. Although it is not as fast or powerful as the other vehicles in its class, its light steering is just a game changer in terms of the level of comfort and ease that it brings. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is powered by a 1.5L, 4 in-line cylinder EQ Boost mild-hybrid engine that produces a maximum power output of 170 hp and a maximum torque of 250 Nm. It runs on 9G-TRONIC (i.e., 9-speed automatic transmission) and has a top speed of 231 kmph. This car is not that great when it comes to high speed driving compared to the other more expensive models (which are also equipped with more powerful engines). However, when it comes to city driving, this vehicle is reliable and practical for luxury sedan standards because of its good fuel economy. 

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is equipped with cutting-edge safety mechanisms such as blind spot assist, acceleration slip regulation, attention assist or driver drowsiness detection, urban guard vehicle protection with interior motion sensor and anti-theft alarm system, adaptive brake lights, and Mercedes-Benz’s pedestrian protection with active bonnet. It also has standard safety and security features. Similar to other Mercedes-Benz vehicles, this luxury sedan has an anti-locking system and electronic stability program for its active and electronic parking brakes. 

Although the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is one of the brand’s cheaper models, it is no denying that it offers more practicality than an E-Class or an S-Class (considering the money you’ll save if you go for the former). That said, if you are looking for a Mercedes-Benz vehicle that is feasible to use on a daily basis, then the C 180 Avantgarde’s mild-hybrid engine is certainly worth the Peso.
