Urban electric fun for Manila's traffic
The BMW CE-02 just seems right for Metro Manila. The quick power makes it easy for me to pass tricycles and jeepneys. It's easy to charge at home using a regular plug, and a charge that I leave overnight lasts me about two days in Quezon City traffic. It's easy for beginners to ride because the seat is low, but the stiff frame makes it rough on EDSA roads. I like the backward mode because it helps me park in mall basements that aren't very big. You don't have to change the oil or fuel; just plug it in and ride. An electric bike costs a lot, but since it doesn't have to pay road tax and doesn't need much upkeep, it's saving me money in the long run.
