Seat height is intimidating for short riders
Being a short rider, I have found the seat height of the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin to be very intimidating. It is difficult to get the legs flat on this bike. In traffic or at low speed, I can feel hot air around my legs. During traffic jams and at stoplights in town, the heat around the clutch side and engine is easily noticeable. Its slow maneuverability, heat, and weight are its serious downsides. It is a good choice for fire roads, trails, and light gravel, but not ideal for extremely technical terrain or rock crawling.
