Strong pulling power, affordable maintenance
I recently bought the Dongfeng Tractor-Head for hauling container vans from Manila Port to Batangas and the four-wheeler has never let me down yet. It generates quite an impressive torque, especially during climbing Tagaytay or cruising on the Baguio routes while being filled to the maximum capacity. The cabin is surprisingly more comfortable for such a beast, featuring a stellar aircon system and excellent sound insulation. Given the rising diesel prices in the Philippines, the truck’s fuel efficiency has become a friend for my pocket. Maintenance too is manageable— spare parts are available in most truck supply shops. The only feature I think needs improvement is the dashboard as it lacks modern features and the intuitiveness.
