11th PH EV Summit: Hyundai PH showcases Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6

Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) has brought the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 electric vehicles (EV) at the 11th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit.

The duo have been hailed as the World Car of the Year in 2022 and 2023 respectively. Their presence in the ongoing three-day new-energy vehicle expo aims to enable more Filipino motorists to adopt the “Ioniq Life.”

“It’s good to be back, gracing this stage again. Sharing best practices and talking about a unified goal – which is green mobility. For us at Hyundai Motor, more than the vehicle, it’s the lifestyle. So, our Ioniq line, was really designed to allow its owners to not just drive electric, but live electric. Which is why for those who are ready to plug in and accelerate their EV journey, the brand is making it easier to transition,” commented HMPH President Dongwook Lee.

According to HMPH, both the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6 come with a free home installation of a 7.4-kilowatt AC charger. Moreover, it is packaged with a five-year or 200,000-kilometer (km) vehicle warranty, an eight-year or 160,000-km battery warranty, and free Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) for five years or 75,000km, whichever comes first.

“Our goal is to instill confidence and peace of mind among our Filipino customers so that they can focus on the true enjoyment of owning a Hyundai EV,” Lee added.

Per HMPH, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 is free to test drive around the Mall of Asia Complex where the exhibition center is located until Saturday, October 21.
