2020 World Car Awards Announces Top Three Finalists in the World

The competition is starting to sizzle up, with the World Car Finals countdown announcing the "Top Three in the World" finalists just yesterday, March 6. The jury consisted of 86 successful international automotive journalists who selected the finalists by secret ballot and based on their qualified evaluation of each vehicle. The Road to the World Car Awards is a yearly event that gathers the votes of 86 international jurors as they test-drive and vote on the eligible vehicles for the 2020 awards season. For this year, 2020 marks the 15th year of the World Car Awards’ partnership with the New York auto show. There are different stops along the road during the testing phase.  The first one is hosted by ZF, and happened in Los Angeles last November 2019 for the sixth annual "L.A. Test Drives". After this event, the Top 10 and Top Five finalists in five of the World Car Awards categories are announced live on a press conference. This is held at the Delhi auto show in New Delhi, India on February 5. The final stop is with a grand finale awards ceremony and press conference at the New York International Auto Show on April 8, 2020. This will be held during the media breakfast that will open the show officially. During this time, the winners in all categories will  also be declared. This isn't the end for The Road to the World Car Awards. Another event, the World Car Garage, will be staged a the British Motor Show in August of 2020. This award-giving body is presented at the British Motor Show will give viewers a glimpse of the 2021 contestants while celebrating the 2020 winners. This would be the fifth consecutive year that the World Car Garage will be presented at a prestigious motor show in Britain. White cars parked on the road The 15th World Car Awards is the number one awards program in the world for the seventh consecutive year (based on Prime Research's 2019 media report). Officially launched in January 2004, it reflects the true nature of the global marketplace, and recognizes, rewards, and inspires excellence, leadership, and innovation in a rapidly changing automotive industry.
