Astara, Salesforce to bolster digitalization thrust

    Moreover, both firms are expanding the commercial relationship that they have established since 2015 and are working together on digital transformation projects. Both parties also agreed on “exploring the journey for a future adoption by Astara of Salesforce automotive specialized solutions.”

    “Since we started our collaboration with Salesforce in 2015, everything we have done in digitalization has been designed to have a business case and a business sense”, Astara Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jorge Navea was quoted as saying.

    “This is why we have been able to grow profitably and get our strategy aligned with our customers’ preferences. Salesforce has allowed us this journey and now, 7 years later, we are in the best position to collaborate in finding together how to face new challenges in the automotive and mobility industry,” he added.

    For his part, Salesforce South Europe, Middle East, and Africa CEO Denis Terrien said that the partnership with Astara “combines innovative technology with sector expertise to help companies reimagine their business models.”

    “At Salesforce we’re delighted that this expanded partnership will better position car manufacturers and dealers to better understand and serve their customers,” he furthered.

    Present in 17 countries, Astara has evolved from car distribution to a broad portfolio of products and services related to mobility. The portfolio includes business lines related to car distribution with more than 200,000 cars sold in 2021, car subscription to cover individual needs, connectivity and market intelligence that enables brands to get insights for their strategy at corporate level.

    In the Philippines, Astara is the local arm of French automaker Peugeot.
