BCPO, residents of Honeymoon Barangay help drunk taxi driver

Proving that showing compassion can go a long way,  the Baguio City Police Office and the members of the local community of Honeymoon Barangay helped a drunk taxi driver after he fell into a state of unconsciousness.

Despite the typical stigma of drunk driving, where the traffic violator is usually slapped with penalties and confiscation of one's driver's license, the action shown by the locals of Baguio proves otherwise.  

The video showing the good deed of Police Captain Morales and the residents of Honeymoon Barangay was posted by a social media page named Highland Travelers, revealing how they attended to the drunk driver while he was asleep.

Based on the clip, the officer and Honeymoon Barangay’s locals were seen attending to the needs of the drunk driver.

“To Police Captain Morales of Baguio City Police Office and sa mga resident ng Honeymoon Barangay maraming salamat sa pagbabantay sa lasing natin na taxi driver (thank you for looking after our drunken taxi driver). Safe and sound po yung driver ah at kumpleto po ang kanyang mga gamit, walang labis walang kulang (the driver is not only safe and sound but his belongings are complete, nothing more nothing less),” read the caption.
