Cavite Opens Another P2P Route for Local Residents

The Province of Cavite has opened another P2P route that will cater to residents of Noveleta and other neighboring towns of Salinas, Kawit, Cavite City and Tanza. There will be seven San Agustin Transport Service Corp. buses that will take the route going to Noveleta--Makati from its terminal at Purgold Noveleta.

According to Noveleta Mayor Dino Reyes Chua, the new P2P route "will bring much-needed relief for Noveleta commuters."

"This is the answer to the daily agonies of Caviteño commuters, especially the Noveleteños. This will not only benefit people from Noveleta, but also the nearby towns of Salinas, Kawit, Cavite City and Tanza," the Mayor said.

Premium Point-to-Point Bus

The Premium Point-to-point (P2P) Bus Service is a collaboration between the Department of Transportation (DOTr) with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), and Metro Express Connect, Inc. It started its operations in the fourth quarter of December 2018 with its first route connecting Cavite and Alabang road networks like Starmall Alabang--Vista Mall Daang Hari Bacoor and Starmall Alabang--Central Mall Dasmarinas.

It's most recent P2P venture became fully operational last September 10, with bus routes going from Bacoor to Makati and Dasmariñas to Makati. Both routes offer services from Mondays to Fridays, with one-way ticket prices costing from PHP110 to PHP150.
