Chevrolet Bolt EV, EUV test rides offered at National Drive Electric Week

Chevrolet offered test rides for its Bolt electric vehicle (EV) and Bolt electric utility vehicle (EUV) at the recently-held National Drive Electric Week in California. The Michigan-based automotive brand took over Electric Avenue by inviting locals to test-drive their EV offerings and learn about the benefits of EV ownership, range, and convenient home charging from EV experts.

The Chevrolet Bolt EV is a compact hatch that features outstanding efficiency, cutting-edge technology, and amped-up style. It is powered by a permanent magnetic drive motor with a single motor and gearset powered by a 65 kilowatt-hour (kWh) lithium-ion battery. This setup gives the Chevy Bolt EV 200 horsepower (hp) with 360Nm of all-electric torque.

Likewise, the Chevrolet Bolt EUV packs a similar powertrain setup.

The Chevrolet Bolt EV boasts an estimated Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) range of about 259 miles — or 416.82 kilometers (km) — on a single charge. The EUV variant offers less range due to its larger and heavier build.

Chevrolet also took the newly revealed 2024 Blazer EV and 2024 Equinox EV at America’s nationwide celebration intended to raise awareness of the many benefits of electric vehicles.

Popular TikTok content creator and EV enthusiast, Nick Cho of Your Korean Dad, served as host and advocate for the all-electric lifestyle.
