  • What is Avatr’s initial vehicle lineup for the local market?

Avatar’s initial lineup for the local market is the Avatr 11, 12, and 07.
  • This follows the arrival of Deepal—another Changan sub brand—in the country back in April under the distributorship of the Autohub Group of Companies

In a statement, Autowise Ventures Incorporated (Auto Icon Group) shared that the multi-brand dealer group forged a distribution agreement with the Changan-Huawei-backed as they both shared the same commitment to delivering luxury, intelligent, and sustainable mobility solutions to Filipino consumers.

“The Philippine market is gaining strong momentum in the new energy vehicle segment as buyers become increasingly aware of and receptive to alternative mobility solutions. Avatr aims to redefine luxury mobility by offering a premium ownership experience powered by cutting-edge technology,” Changan Auto Group Vice President Guan Xin was quoted as saying.

The Avatr 11 is a 578-horsepower dual-motor-powered luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV) that can zoom from 0-100 kilometers per hour in less than four seconds. On the other hand, the Avatr 12 premium executive sedan features advanced 4D Intelligent Cockpit technology.

Lastly, the Avatr 07 is an urban-focused SUV and the marque’s first model to offer both battery electric vehicle and range-extended electric vehicle powertrain options.

Further, Avatr is expected to make its official Philippine debut in the third quarter of the year, supported by full-service dealerships strategically located in Alabang and Bonifacio Global City.
