CST caps off 2020 with a new highway-terrain moto street tire

Before the year ends, Cheng Shin Tire (CST) has announced the coming of its latest tire offering for Moto Street riders— CM619.

According to CST, the newest model is a motorcycle street tire that has an engineered tread design and composition suited for street bike riders who primarily drive on urban roads but does occasional high speed touring on the side.

They have also claimed that CM619 has the sufficient traction, stability and endurance. CST claimed that the CM619 has a circumferential main groove  that supports efficient directional control during high-speed cornering while mitigating strain and cracking on the middle tread during high-speed banking and the calibrated sipes should boost overall stability when attacking corners.

It also features an intersection structure design that supports a high-binding force for the tire casing to prevent deformation. The reinforced sidewall design ups casing strength.

Made from high-strength carcass material, the tire further ensures casing durability, the CM619 is also equipped with reinforced bead structure to avert the tire from detaching from the wheel or rim.

CST Tires Director of Sales and Business Development Jaybee Atanacio, expressed the Filipinos’ need for a new tire offering that is durable enough for the country’s various road condition.

“Filipino moto street bikers deserve tires that can withstand the road conditions of their highway-terrain adventures. With the launch of the CM619, riders can enjoy high-quality tire traction, stability and endurance without denting their pocket,” he said.

The CM619 comes in six sizes: 60/80 - 17 CM619 TT, 70/80 - 17 CM619 TT, 80/80 - 17, CM619 TT, 90/80 - 17 CM619 TT, 100/80 - 17 CM619 TT and 90/90 - 17 CM619 TL. Purchasers of two CM619 tires from October 1 to December 31 get to take home an exclusive CST washable face mask and drawstring bag. Customers may avail of the promo in 37 participating tire stores nationwide.
