CTEK PH launches two state-of-the-art battery chargers

CTEK Philippines unveiled two new offerings that are designed to meet one’s battery charging needs.

During a virtual roundtable, the local distributor of the battery charging brand introduced the CS Free and CS One. The said products are aimed to meet the demand for efficient and convenient charging.

A truly portable battery charger, the CTEK CS Free can provide enough power to a battery in a maximum of 15 minutes, thanks to its Adaptive Boost Technology. In contrast to common jumpstarters and battery boosters, the CTEK CS Free will not shock one’s battery to life—avoiding damage to the battery or to the vehicle’s electronics.

Aside from that, the CTEK CS Free can also double as a power bank as it can charge mobile devices through the USB-C and USB-A charging ports that are built-in to the device.

CTEK Director of Sales and Marketing for Asia-Pacific Robert Briggs claimed that when all juiced up, the battery within CTEK CS Free can last up to a year, making it a reliable portable charger that is a must-have in your vehicle wherever you go.

According to the distributor, the CS Free will deliver up to 5A of power for all types of 12V batteries, including EFB and Lithium.

Further, the CTEK CS Free also works as a maintenance charger when connected to a power source, (AC outlet, a PD charger, USB-C cable or even a 60W solar panel). “The main LED display will show how much time is left until the battery is fully charged and, as with the beauty of any CTEK charger, the battery can be kept connected without fear of overcharging,” CTEK Philippines noted.

On the other hand, the CTEK CS One is the brand’s 12V adaptive battery charger that can be described as a smart charger. Featuring the unique APTO Adaptive Charging Technology. This feature will determine the chemistry, size, and health of the battery, and will automatically apply the customized charging program required.

Furthermore, the CTEK CS One will detect the ambient temperature and adjust the output voltage. This apparatus also has a dedicated battery maintenance feature for lead-acid and lithium batteries, making it adaptive and compatible to any kind of vehicle battery. It will notify the user if a battery can no longer hold a charge.

Additionally, the CTEK CS One is equipped with Polarity-Free Clamps — which deliver the correct polarity for the terminals without worrying how the clamp was fitted to it.

Likewise, the CTEK CS One also features Recondition mode to bring deeply-discharged batteries to life, Supply mode to turn the CS One into a 12V power supply, especially for vehicles that are highly electronics-heavy, and Lithium wake-up mode for lithium batteries with under-voltage protection (UVP). The three aforementioned features can be unlocked and accessed through the dedicated CTEK App that is downloadable on both iOS and Android.  

The CTEK CS Free is now available on the official CTEK Philippines e-commerce stores on Lazada LazMall (www.lazada.com.ph/shop/ctek) and Shopee Mall (www.shopee.ph/ctekphilippines) while the the availability of the CTEK CS One will be announced once it is officially released locally.
