  • How many views did the viral video have?

  • The agency made the announcement after the Land Transportation Office issued a show-cause order (SCO) on “Yanna” for allegedly instigating a road rage as seen in a recent video that she posted over her Facebook page.

According to Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon, all road users must display discipline, accountability, and responsible behavior — especially public figures and influencers.

The video that Yanna posted went viral and immediately garnered 24.5 million views, more than 74,000 shares and nearly 200,000 comments from the time of publishing this article.

In the said video, the rider flipped off the driver of the pick-up truck that she claimed was driving recklessly. This led to a confrontation between her and the driver.

The driver of the four-wheeled vehicle asked her why she made such a gesture as he also explained that normal driving is not possible on rough roads. However, Yanna argued with him, saying, “Bakit nga ba? You tell me!” several times.

After the short discussion, the driver left. However, the rider still made some snide remarks against him.

Matagal na tayong nagpapaliwanag sa milyon-milyong nating mga kababayang motorista na walang mabuting idinudulot ang init ng ulo sa kalsada — at napakarami na ang naparusahan natin dito (We have long explained to millions of motorists that anger on the road does no good — and we have punished many for it),” LTO Chief, Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor Mendoza II said.

“On the part of this vlogger, she should have used her social media influence to promote responsible driving and road safety,” he added.

Meanwhile, Yanna posted a public apology about the incident in her social media page.
