Exclusive motorcycle lanes now available at 135 Petron stations

Petron Corporation revealed that since the start of the second quarter this year, it has been featuring motorcycle lanes at select stations.

Petron said that the motorcycle lanes are aimed to address the “unique needs of the growing number of two-wheeled motorists” as well as “provide convenience through faster transactions.”

In a statement, Petron added that this lane-segregation initiative, which started April 15, 2021, avoids "line-cutting" — a common source of misunderstanding and arguments among customers.

According to Petron, about 135 stations in Metro Manila, North Luzon area (Baguio City, Olongapo City, Apayao, Bataan, Benguet, Bulacan, Cagayan, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Isabela, Kalinga, La Union, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Tarlac, and Zambales) and South Luzon (Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, and Quezon provinces) have implemented the program.

They said that that the exclusive motorcycle lane program will be rolled out in other stations in other parts of the country in the coming months “to offer the millions of Filipino motorcycle riders safer, faster, and more convenient service.”

Further, Petron, as the country’s largest oil company and lone local oil refiner, claimed that it has “deep understanding of driving conditions on Philippine roads,” offering products and services that will deliver optimum benefits to Filipino motorists. 

For motorcycles, Petron presents its Sprint 4T motorcycle oils that are formulated with a Thermal Control System (TCS) additive to deliver a cooler, smoother ride while ensuring sustained power and protecting the engine. Aside from being subjected to international laboratory testing, the product has passed world-class benchmarks. It was also tested for over 10,000 kilometers during a four-month period by local riders.

Aside from that, Petron has a variety of fuel products to choose from, which it claims are designed to deliver “better engine protection, fuel efficiency, and power." These are Petron Blaze 100, XCS premium gasoline, and Xtra Advance.
