First Truck of the Year 'Dealer Talks' Slated on August 5

After the success of the first-ever "Dealer Talks" for the reigning Car of the Year winner, the Honda Civic RS Turbo, recently held at Honda Cars Manila Bay in ASEANA City in Paranaque City, Car Awards Group, Inc. (CAGI) continues the momentum for the 2016 Truck of the Year winner, the Isuzu D-Max 4x2 3.0 LS AT. Now on a roll for the 13th year, CAGI seeks to enhance the relevance of the Truck of the Year-Philippines award to the local market. Forging a partnership with Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) through the participation of the Isuzu Alabang, Cavite and Pasig dealerships, CAGI is holding its second consecutive "Dealer Talks," this time for the pick-up segment. CAGI President Ronald de los Reyes and Technical Director Mariano Tamayo sat down with Isuzu Automotive Dealership, Inc. (IADI) Regional Head Alex Paguio and IADI Branch Manager Erio Tenedoro to sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) ratifying this exciting new project. The said talks set this August 5, Saturday, from 3 to 5pm at Isuzu Alabang along Zapote Road in Munitinlupa City, are being held in celebration of the Truck of the Year award won by the Isuzu D-Max 4x2, and are designed to communicate the importance of the TOTY award to various stakeholders, including the salespeople, marketing staff and customers of the brand. For the first time ever, outsiders will be granted access to the inner workings of the Truck of the Year award, from candidate selection to testing, to scoring, to awarding. This is done with the support of KPMG RG. Manabat & Co., Petron Corporation, Carmudi Philippines, and NLEX Corporation.
