Motorists get relief with 2nd fuel price cut this April

MANILA: Local oil players are set to conduct another round of price cuts at the pump this week—the second straight rollback for the month of April.

As announced in their respective advisories, Pilipinas Shell and Petron mentioned the retail price of their products at the pump will drop by as much as P24.94 per liter.

Their price adjustments, which will be effective starting tomorrow (April 21), can be seen below:

Gasoline	P3.41 per liter
Kerosene	P2 per liter

These movements will be implemented after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced the reductions the adjustments for this week yesterday.

Over the weekend, Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz to commercial vessels anew. The latest move comes amid the two-week ceasefire that will expire on April 22.
