Fuel companies stop 3-week retail price increase
Local oil players have ended the string of price hikes that happened during the past weeks.

This week, gasoline products at the pump will go down by P0.50 per liter, diesel by P0.70 per liter, and kerosene by P0.85 per liter.As announced on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Seaoil, and Unioil shall cut down the retail price of gasoline products by P0.50 per liter, and diesel by P0.70 per liter.
Aside from that, some of the aforementioned firms are also set to slash P0.85 per liter on the price of kerosene.
The movements on the pump prices shall happen today (October 22) — with other marques expected to follow suit.
Last week, local players raised the price of gasoline by P2.65 per liter, diesel by P2.70 per liter and kerosene P2.60 per liter.
