Fuel price hikes not lower than P1/L to be implemented this week
MANILA: Motorists, brace yourselves as the initial fuel price increase for 2025 will not be lower than P1 per liter.

Companies will raise the price of gasoline and kerosene by P1 per liter each, and diesel by P1.40 per liter.When will the adjustment take effect?
The movements will become effective starting tomorrow.Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil shall jack up the retail pricing of gasoline products by P1 per liter, and diesel by P1.40 per liter.
In addition, those that offer kerosene will raise the pricing at the pump of the aforementioned product by P1 per liter as well.

To note, the first fuel price adjustment for the year were markdowns on gasoline (P0.30 per liter), diesel (P0.30 per liter), kerosene (P0.90 per liter) and liquefied petroleum gas (P0.90 per kilogram).
