Fuel price increases to continue this week

MANILA: Fuel companies in the Philippines will continue to jack up prices of their products at the pump this week.

    Companies will raise the price of gasoline and kerosene by P0.80 per liter each, and diesel by P0.90 per liter.

  • When will the adjustment take effect?

    The movements will become effective starting tomorrow.

    • Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil shall add P0.80 per liter on the retail price of gasoline (unleaded and premium) and P0.90 per liter on diesel.

    Additionally, some of the companies will also implement a P0.80-per-liter increase on kerosene.

    The adjustments are set to take effect tomorrow — with other players expected to follow suit.

    Last week, local players raised the price of gasoline and kerosene products by P1 per liter, and diesel by P1.40 per liter.
