Fuel prices to skyrocket by more than P1/L this week

MANILA: Oil companies shall implement big-time hikes on their products at the pump a week motorists enjoy a temporary reprieve on fuel price adjustments.

    This week, companies will add P1.35 per liter on the price of gasoline, P1.30 per liter on diesel, and P1.10 per liter on kerosene.

    The movements in pricing will take effect starting April 22, 2025

    • Based on their respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil are set to jack up the retail prices of the following:

    • Gasoline: P1.35 per liter
    • Diesel: P1.30 per liter

    Additionally, firms that offer kerosene will add P1.10 per liter to the aforementioned product's pricing.

    The adjustments will take effect tomorrow (April 22).

    Check out the common pump price of fuel products as of April 8-14 based on the Department of Energy’s monitoring:

    Gasoline

    P58.4 per liter

    Diesel

    P54.3 per liter
