Here are the possible specs of the upcoming Ford Transit

Ford Philippines has just announced the coming of their  upcoming model, Ford Transit. 

Carmudi Philippines got the invites for for the launching of the upcoming model and we are definitely eager beavers about it.

The launch will be made on November 27 and we will surely be providing information to everyone as soon as we grab hold of its specifications.

Other than the grille and the gargantuan design seen in the invite, Ford has not provided anything as of the moment so we will guessing as of what will be brought here. 

For its powertrain, our guess is that it might be fitted with the 2.0-liter turbo diesel with a 10-speed automatic transmission that is currently fitted in the Ranger Raptor and the refreshed Everest. However, it might also have the 3.5-liter PFDi V6, which are avaible in the US market.

Despite being marketed in the US as a cargo van, Ford Transit might come with Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Assist with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, post collision braking, lane-keeping assist, among others. If that is the case, this would make it one of the safest haulers in the market.

The upcoming product of Ford Philippines will be battling in the local market against the Toyota Hiace Super Grandia and Korea's Hyundai Grand Starex.
