Honda Cars PH now offers PM2.5+ cabin air filter

To offer enhanced protection in the time of pandemic, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) announced that it's now offering an upgraded cabin air filter PM2.5+ for its customers.

The local distributor for the Japanese automaker claimed that the latest offering will help customers “win the battle vs. COVID-19 and all its variants.”

Priced at P950 (plus VAT), the new PM2.5+ cabin air filter — which was developed to “improve the vehicle’s interior air quality by filtering out external and internal pollutants” — is offered with a 19-percent discount until Wednesday next week (October 20).

“Now more than ever, people have a renewed appreciation for health and clean air. To help with the nagging fight against the pandemic, as well as asthma, and other respiratory illnesses, responsible vehicle owners take it upon themselves to ensure that their cars are well maintained for these reasons as well,” HCPI shared in a statement.

“For Honda’s part, this latest PM2.5+ Cabin Air Filter provides 90 to 99 percent protection from dreadful viruses and bacteria. The dust-collecting filter has a high collection efficiency for various kinds of particles such as dust, molds, volcanic ash, outside emissions, and cigarette smoke,” the company added.

The new PM2.5+ cabin air filter has a new anti-microbial coating that has an immediate eliminating reaction on viruses and bacteria. “It releases Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) that allows germicidal effect in the coating’s proximal area. This prevents microbial adhesion on the surface of the filter, making it clean from future contaminants,” HCPI further stated.
