Gracing the agreement signing are Autohub President and Chief Executive Officer Willy Tee Ten, HPI President, Susumu Mitsuishi, Autohub Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Aftersales Support Jesus Boces Jr., and HPI AVP for Business Administration Gerry Datario.

“Safety has, and will always be essential both in motorcycle riding, which is why Autohub partnered with Honda Safety Driving Center (HSDC) to bring you Autohub Motorcycle Training Excellence (AMTEX)," Autohub shared in the statement, noting that riders will learn the proper ways to maneuver a motorcycle as well as be a responsible rider.

“This course aims to foster a safe, responsible, and empowered motorcycle riding experience by offering fundamental rider education. With an emphasis on safety procedures as they are exposed to a range of road conditions in a safe and regulated setting, it is designed to enhance the experience for motorcycle riders."

Under the program, safety instructors will teach the riders proper hand signals, road signs, road markings, and other safety tips through classroom seminars.

After completing the classroom sessions, the instructors would then lead the class to the actual riding course wherein they have to overcome various obstacles by shifting, accelerating, and braking precisely while keeping up with the tempo of the road condition.

Autohub noted that the training is an eight-hour practical driving course for individuals who hold a student license and an extra restriction for motorcycles, for those with non-professional and professional licenses.

Tee Ten reiterated that it now has the ACCS (Autohub Car Care Services) that offers safety riding equipment for the riders to check out.

“I am looking forward to further improving all our programs with HSDC. I am hoping to grow this partnership beyond two-wheels and four-wheels safety driving programs,” Tee Ten said.

For his part, Mitsuishi expressed gratitude towards the Autohub group as the company “seriously embraces road safety as an important aspect in its business operations.” “We are looking forward to a fruitful partnership in the future,” the HPI president added.
