Honda Super Tuner Legends Series Featured at 2020 Hot Wheels
Good news to all tuner fans out there: Honda Super Tuner Legends Series has just joined the third annual 2020 Hot Wheels Legends tour that started in Miami last March 7, 2020.
Finishing a more expanded 18 Legend Tour stops this year, the Honda Super Tuner Legends Series searches the entire U.S. for a life-sized vehicle that can be customized into a 'Hot Wheel Car'. It's very popular among "tuners" who like to customize their vehicles with more advanced upgrades for their vehicles. Honda is one of their favorite vehicles to use, using 1:64 scale die-casts of Honda Hot Wheels toys that use popular models like the Honda Odyssey, Honda S2000, Honda Racer 5, Honda Monkey Z50, Honda Civic Si, Honda Civic Coupe, Honda Civic EF, and Honda CR-X.
There were a roster of expert judges who selected one Honda vehicle from each Legends Tour event as a Honda Super Tuner Finalist. Those who make it to the finals will face each other off to earn the “Honda Super Tuner” title. The winner will get to showcase their vehicle at the industry's premier automotive specialty products trade exhibition, the 2020 SEMA Show. The event will happen in Las Vegas on Nov. 3-6, 2020.
“We celebrated the highly successful 2019 Hot Wheels Legends Tour by taking a one-of-a-kind 1972 Honda N600 to SEMA, and we look forward to finding another special Honda vehicle to honor during the 2020 Legends Tour,” said Bruce Garfield, Licensing and Brand Manager at American Honda Motor Co., Inc.
“Honda and Mattel have enjoyed a long, successful relationship, and we look forward to what the future holds for our fans and the tuner community.”
Those who are interested to join or watch the Honda Super Tuner Legends Series can go to any parking lot of designated Walmart Supercenter stores in each host city of the Hot Wheels Legends Tour. You can also visit: https://hotwheels.mattel.com/explore/HW_50th/en/legends-tour.
This is the second consecutive year that the Honda Super Tuner Legends Series has collaborated with Mattel in their Hot Wheels Legend tours. Aside from touring together, both companies have also made dozens of Honda Hot Wheels toys for nearly two decades already, with 20 currently in production.
Aside from Hot Wheels, global children's entertainment company Mattel has also created innovative products through their portfolio of iconic franchises, like Barbie, American Girl, Fisher-Price, Thomas & Friends and Mega. They also own or license partnership with other global companies. Mattel has been in the business for 75 years already.
