Hyundai PH Inaugurates Green Dealership in Calamba, Laguna

Hyundai Laguna, Incorporated (HLI) fortified its long-standing partnership with Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) with the recent launch of Hyundai Trucks and Buses (HTB) Calamba, also cited as the first green commercial vehicle dealership in South Luzon. The unveiling of the HTB Calamba marker was led by Hyundai Motor Company (HMC) Senior Vice President for Commercial Vehicles Export Division In Cheol Lee who was then assisted by Laguna Governor Ramil Hernandez and top honchos from HARI and HLI. According to HARI, the marker represents the dealership’s commitment to add value to businesses in Calamba via customized mobility solutions and eco-friendly dealership operations. HTB Calamba was pre-certified "Molave," the second highest ranking for GREEEN (Geared for Resiliency and Energy Efficiency for the Environment) by the Philippine Green Building Initiative (PGBI). Ratings body PGBI is a group of professional development associations that was formed through a shared concern for the sustainability of the built environment, from design to construction to actual operations. "Our first-ever dedicated Hyundai trucks and buses dealership in the Philippines is a significant step towards our much-anticipated quantum leap... to take the lead in providing world-class and cost-effective mobility solutions to the booming market of CALABARZON," affirmed HARI President and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo.
