Good news to those who want to check out the soon-to-be-launched Suzuki S-Presso AGS: the vehicle can be seen at the ongoing 2023 Auto Focus Summer Test Drive Festival.
Suzuki S-Presso’s automatic transmission version is currently being showcased at the Sunshine Television-organized event and is available for test drives.
Carmudi Philippines attended the first day of the festival — which is up until May 7, 2023 — held at the SM Mall of Asia Grounds to examine the vehicle and here are some bits of information gathered.
Aesthetic-wise, not much difference can be seen at the upcoming offering that will be priced at P660,000. The four-holed grille with trapezoid motifs at the fore and the rear bumper design have been carried over.
The headlamps are still on halogen while the signature C-shape taillamps were also retained to easily recognize the vehicle especially at nighttime.
The vehicle sits on 14-inch two-toned alloy wheels and is set to be retailed in four body colors namely Sizzle Orange, Fire Red, Metallic Gray, and white.
Inside, the forthcoming Suzuki S-Presso AGS still has the same interior design: black hard plastic and fabric comprising the cabin. In the middle of the dashboard are the power window switches for the front side windows and the seven-inch touchscreen audio system that makes the vehicle up for the times.
As announced earlier, the incoming Suzuki model’s three-liter, 12-valve 1.0-liter K10C engine with variable valve timing is mated to a five-speed Auto Gear Shift (AGS) system that efficiently delivers up to 67 horsepower and 90 Newton-meters of torque.
Making the vehicle more fuel-saving is its engine automatic stop-start feature that turns off the mill a few seconds after having a full stop.
In addition, the vehicle has a host of safety features such as the hill-hold control, electronic stability program, among other technologies.
More details about the Suzuki S-Presso AGS shall be given soon as its official launch is set real soon.
