The Ford F-150 is the American automaker’s full-size pickup truck. Ford relaunched the F-150 in 2020 after a two-decade hiatus since it was first introduced in the local truck segment back in 1998.
Although better known for its massive size, the Ford F-150 proves that its interior is as extensive as its exterior. Today, we take a look at what’s inside Ford’s best-selling larger-than-life truck.
One thing you’ll quickly notice as soon as you step inside the Ford F-150 is the generous amounts of leather. You’ll find it on the seats, steering wheel, shift knob, armrest, and center console.
The Platinum trim ups the F-150’s interior game with genuine Black Ash wood trims, aluminum applique in the center panel and console, unique instrument cluster and gauges, color-coordinated carpet flooring with premium floor mats, metallic door sill inserts complete with “Platinum” lettering.
The presence of leather not only complements the additional interior accessories but also gives the Ford-F150 a luxurious feel without sacrificing comfort.
Speaking of which…
Ford packed the F-150 with class-leading convenience features including dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control (DEATC), two smart-charging USB ports with a 12-volt socket, power-tilt and telescopic steering column with power memory, power-adjustable accelerator and brake pedals with memory, as well as power door, windows, and tailgate.
And oh, there’s also a twin-panel moonroof.
The Ford F-150 also packs an impressive infotainment system. At the center sits an eight-inch LCD capacitive touch screen with pinch-to-zoom function that’s also AppLink, Apple CarPlay, and Andriod Auto compatible.
Audio managed through a B&O sound system by Bang & Olufsen with 10 speakers and subwoofers carefully arranged inside the Ford F-150’s cabin.
The eight-inch screen in the center stack also allows you to access other safety features and driving amenities like the 360-degree camera with split-view display.
There’s also an eight-inch productivity screen instrument panel that can easily be seen past the multi-functional steering wheel.
Overall, the interior features of the Ford F-150 does not disappoint. Well, for a pickup truck priced at P2,698,000 (Ford F-150 3.5L V6 EcoBoost 4x2 Lariat AT) and P2,998,000 (Ford F-150 3.5L V6 EcoBoost 4x4 Platinum AT), it’d be sad to sit in a truck with less than decent interior features.
