Isuzu mu-X Owners Stage 3-Day North Luzon Caravan

Aiming to showcase the durability, reliability and comfort that the Isuzu mu-X SUV provides, the mu-X Owners of the Philippines (mu-X OP) embarked on a three-day caravan, traveling on a 1,300-km loop of Central and Northern Luzon from March 29 to 31.

The group’s scheduled stops included some of the most scenic destinations up North, including Poro Point in San Fernando, La Union; Vigan, Ilocos Sur; Paoay Church in Ilocos Norte; the Burgos and Bangui Windmills; the Patapat Viaduct; the rolling hills of Kalinga province; and Magat Dam in Nueva Ecija.

More than 100 mu-X OP members participated in the caravan, with some bringing their families along. Officers of the Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) also took part in the road trip, along with members of the motoring media.

Since its inception in 2016, mu-X OP has upheld a fun and family-centered spirit by engaging in community-building tours and outreach programs through their use and shared enjoyment of Isuzu mu-X vehicles.

"Like all our other trips in the past, this latest caravan has been very successful," said Jomar Lianko, mu-X OP's Board of Trustee. "Our Metro Manila members were joined along the way by other club members based in Central and Northern Luzon. And as you can see, every member of the family enjoyed the tour, despite the length of the trip and the fact that we’re constantly on the road.

"It just proves that the Isuzu mu-X is very comfortable and safe that we hear no complaints from the passengers. Plus, the perfect blend of fuel efficiency and power of Isuzu mu-X provides our Club members a worry-free drive and lets them focus more on enjoying the trip.”

After the tour, the participating IPC officers expressed their gratitude to mu-X OP for how the group exemplifies how the Isuzu mu-X can be a huge part of the Filipino way of life. The officers also thanked the group for their efforts in enticing potential car buyers about the benefits of the SUV.
