Isuzu PH to launch ‘automated manual' transmission N-Series tomorrow

Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) will be unveiling the latest version of the N-Series that will feature an automated manual transmission.

To be called the N-Series Smoother, the latest truck offering of the Japanese marque is set to be revealed online via IPC’s official Youtube and Facebook pages at 7p.m. tomorrow night.

Now that it wears an "automated manual" gearbox, the said model is expected to no longer have a clutch pedal, merging two notable benefits: the comfort that an automatic transmission gives and the efficiency that the manual transmission is known for.

While there is not much information provided yet, Carmudi Philippines is expecting the same 3.0-liter, 4JJ1-TCC engine available in the current lineup will power the model from the country’s leader truck manufacturer in the country.
