MIAS 2019: MG PH Launches MG 6 Fastback Sedan (with VIDEO)

The Covenant Car Company Inc. (TCCCI), the distributor responsible for bringing the Morris Garages (MG) brand of cars to our shores, revealed the brand's latest offering at this year's Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), the MG 6 sedan.

"It has been only six months since TCCCI was granted the distributorship of MG in the Philippines, and we are very happy with the positive and overwhelming reception that the automotive industry and clients have afforded MG in the Philippines," said Alberto Arcilla, president and managing director of TCCCI, during his speech at the launch of MG6 at MIAS 2019.

"Today, we are excited to officially introduce a new fastback sedan that channels the rich motoring heritage of MG," Atty. Arcilla added.

The MG 6 features a 1.5-liter turbocharged gas engine that produces 162 hp and 250 Nm. The car comes in two trims, the AT Alpha and AT Trophy. Driving safety is enhanced by Hill Start Assist, Traction Control, and Tire Pressure Monitoring, along with the basic safety features including Antilock Brake System, Electronic Brake Assist and Electronic Brake Distribution. The elegant interior is loaded with creature comforts, and combined with the sporty and responsive feel of the wheel and pedals, makes for one enjoyable ride.

The MG 6 has a price tag of PHP 1,068,888 for the Alpha variant and PHP1,188,888 for the Trophy variant.
