MIAS 2023: ACDelco PH expands offering with Dexos oil lineup addition

ACDelco Philippines has further expanded its offerings in the market after introducing the Dexos engine oil lineup.

Revealed at the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2023, the brand’s local arm said that the latest products are suitable for use in their ranges of fuel efficient, low-emission engines.

Designed to work with the latest engine technologies such as turbochargers, direct injection, and variable valve timing systems, the 5W-30 ACDelco Dexos1 Gen3 provides protection against engine wear, deposits, and sludge, and helps to extend the life of the engine.

Meanwhile, the ACDelco Dexos2 diesel engine oil is formulated to provide superior engine protection and fuel efficiency, as well as assists in meeting the latest emissions standards. In addition, the product is compatible with powertrains fitted with turbochargers, and diesel particulate filters (DPF). It also safeguards the engine against wear, deposits, and sludge.

Apart from meeting the current American Petroleum Institute (API) and International Lubricants Standardization and Approval Committee (ILSAC) requirements, ACDelco Philippines, noted that Dexos oils were developed through additional testing that provides reduction in piston deposits of up to 28 percent and a slight improvement in fuel efficiency compared to the API and ILSAC requirements.

“Studies show that the service life of the DEXOS oil could reach up to 20,000 kilometers between oil changes,” the company added.

Aside from motor oils, ACDelco also offers a wide range of automotive parts and accessories, including batteries, brakes, filters, among others, to meet the needs of both professional mechanics and individual car owners.

The ACDelco booth is at the Booth E40 of the ongoing four-day exhibit at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
