Mini reveals Concept Aceman all-electric crossover, to make public debut at GamesCom 2022

Mini has unveiled the first all-electric crossover from the British automotive marque, the Concept Aceman.

“The Mini Concept Aceman provides an initial glimpse of a completely new vehicle, bridging the space between the Mini Cooper and the Mini Countryman in the model family’s future. This concept car reflects how Mini is reinventing itself for its all-electric future and what the brand stands for: an electrified go-kart feel, an immersive digital experience, and a strong focus on a minimal environmental footprint,” said Mini Brand Lead Stefanie Wurst.

Noticeable in the Concept Aceman is its grille. Since it’s going to be all-electric the traditional front end has been redesigned. The fore now has new LED lights, that according to Mini, provide a striking light signature both in daytime running lights and in night design.

Mini also adds that it sports flat and geometrically modeled wheel arches that house 20-inch light-alloy wheels. 

Towards the back, the Mini Concept Aceman boasts an athletic shoulder line and a powerful rear.

Inside, the concept crossover is consistently reduced to the bare essentials. Wide-open and gently curved surfaces in the area of the door panels and the dashboard give a generous feeling of space.

“In the interior of the Mini Concept Aceman, we have concentrated on a simplistic appearance in combination with premium materials and welcoming colors. Digitization enables us to make do with few operating elements and at the same time to maximize the experience in a way that is characteristic of Mini,” explains Mini Design Lead Oliver Heilmer.

The Mini Concept Aceman will be publicly presented for the first time at the world’s largest gaming event, GamesCom 2022, in Cologne. The event starts on the evening of August 23,  with the grand GamesCom opening show Opening Night Live.
