Mitsubishi opens "playground" in Japan
Japanese automaker Mitsubishi has announced the opening of its new headquarter showroom in Tokyo.
Known as MI-Playground (pronounced “My Playground”), the newest showroom is situated in Tamachi, Tokyo which was opened to jumpstart the last quarter of 2020.
The MI-Playground stands for Mitsubishi Motors (M) and intelligent, inspiration, ingenious and interaction (I).
The new headquarter showroom—in line with its global message 'Drive your Ambition'—presents the brand’s identity, serves as an area of interaction, and reflects its dedication to heightened customer experience.
The latest facility is eyed to give customers an enjoyable experience to check and test the Mitsubishi models, while giving them an immersion into brand’s rich history.
The MI-Playground sports a clean and modern design with the brand’s corporate colors, white and black, which are used as base colors accentuated with wood pattern to provide a sense of warmth and familiarity.
At the ground floor is the showroom area where the latest models are on display as well as the concept car displays and workshops being targeted for launch in the future.
The satellite area is on the second floor, which can be reached via the pedestrian deck. This area is directly connected to the JR Tamachi Station Shibaura Exit. To add to the pleasant ambiance, visitors can enjoy refreshments in the area, too.
