Mitsubishi shares April sales, production, export figures

Mitsubishi Motors has announced its Japanese domestic market (JDM) sales and production figures as well as its export results for the month of April.

According to the Japanese automotive brand’s most recent press release, its overall sales in Japan totaled 4,513 units. A sum of 2,424 were made up of its minicars and the remaining 2,089 were from other segments like sedans, MPVs, SUVs, and pickup trucks.

In terms of production, Mitsubishi achieved a domestic overall output of 23,240. The auto firm also reported its overseas production results, stating that around 30,223 Mitsubishi vehicles were produced outside of Japan in April. Countries producing the brand’s vehicles include China, Thailand, and Indonesia. The grand total of Mitsubishi’s production figures is 53,463.

Export-wise, Mitsubishi reports that it has put out 12,860 units. The automaker reveals that its major markets include Europe, North America, and Asia.
