Mitsubishi's domestic sales, export increase in Nov. 2022

Mitsubishi announced that the company experienced an increase in domestic sales for the Month of November 2022, compared to the same month in 2021.

Per the Tokyo-based brand, it has sold a total of 6,812 vehicles in Japan in November 2022, of which, 3,502 were minicars. In November 2021, Mitsubishi only sold 4,715 cars locally, revealing a 44.47 percent increase in the firm’s overall sales. 

Likewise, Mitsubishi shared that it exported 21,382 units in November 2022, which reflects a 1.90 percent increase over the 20,983 units the company exported in November 2021. The automotive brand has a strong market in the North American, European, and Asian markets.

Production-wise, Mitsubishi — in November 2022 — built 33,732 cars in Japan and 48,988 vehicles made in countries like China, Thailand, and Indonesia. Compared to its production results in November 2021, the company produced 36,860 vehicles in Japan and 58,746 units outside of the country. This revealed a 13.47 percent decrease in the company’s overall production, year-on-year.
